Latest 3 2013 Division Recruits listed in Inside Lacrosse Recruiting Round Up

 We've got a ton of new commitments from the class of 2013, including a handful from the talented Laxachussetts club up in New England. The rate at which the rising juniors are committing is pretty crazy, so I'll make an update over on the Lacrosse Forums before the next edition to keep track of how classes are shaping up. Also, some top 2012's find a home.

2013S


Patrick Healy, D, St. Sebastian's (Mass.)has committed to Notre Dame. A can't miss athlete, Healy is also the starting quarterback on the football team. Excelled with Laxachusetts this summer, particularly the Brine Shootout, and fits ND's defensive scheme perfectly. 

Ian YanulisI, D, Boston College H.S. (Mass.) has committed to Duke. A tough defenseman at 6-foot-3, Yanulis is outstanding when the ball on the ground and has a very active stick. He is also a talented hockey player for B.C. HIgh, one of the better programs around. Had a great showing at Brine Shootout with Laxachusetts as well. 

Dalton MacAfee, M, St. Sebastian's (Mass.) has committed to Notre Dame. An athletic two-way midfielder, MacAfee has been on the varsity hockey and lax teams at Seb's since his freshman year. His father, Ken, was formerly a Heisman candidate at tight end in his time in South Bend. Another promising recruit from the Laxachusetts program, he also considered Maryland and Johns Hopkins. 

Connor Cannizzaro, A, Cazenovia (N.Y.) has committed to Maryland. A big-time scorer in upstate N.Y., Cannizzaro registered 83 goals and 36 assists for the state champion Lakers this year. Played at Under Armour and Blue Chip, among others. Also a touted ice hockey player. Check back for more on Connor's decision in the coming week or so.

Zach Currier, M, Culver Military (Ind.) has committed to Princeton and its admissions process. A throwback midfielder that excels at the face-off X, Currier can do a lot of things on the field well. Attended Jake Reed's Blue Chip in June. He also considered Johns Hopkins, Virginia, Cornell and Notre Dame. 

Will Reynolds, D, Delbarton (N.J.) has committed to Princeton. One of the top close defenseman on the recruiting trail, Reynolds was named Defensive Man of the Session at Jake Reed's Blue Chip. He also played for New Jersey at the Under Armour underclass tournament, as well as several events with Patriots Lacrosse. Reynolds was a starter at close for the Green Wave this year and two-way starter in football. The aggressive on-ball defender also considered Duke, Virginia and Air Force. 

Justin Guterding, A/M, Garden City (N.Y.) has committed to Duke. A skilled lefty, he put up 10 goals and 20 assists playing midfield for the Trojans, but is a natural attackman. Played at Maverik Showtime, Jake Reed's Blue Chip, Warrior 40 and with the L.I. Express. Also considered Penn, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins, Princeton and Harvard. Shane Simpson, M, Salisbury (Conn.) has committed to North Carolina. An athletic Canadian who plays with Edge in the summer, Simpson stood out at Jake Reed's Blue Chip and Brine Shootout, where he tore up the first session. Will make the switch to Salisbury this fall. He will also be playing for Team Ontario at the U-19 Canadian championships. Simpson also considered Johns Hopkins, Duke, Denver, Maryland, UMass and Bucknell. 

Jack Grass, A, Bronxville (N.Y.) has committed to Johns Hopkins. Grass registered 59 goals and 45 assists in the spring, playing at Blue Chip and Maverik Showtime this summer. He also considered Virginia, UNC, Duke, Notre Dame, Maryland, Penn and Syracuse. Read more about Grass' commitment on LaxLessons.com

Adam Monticollo, LSM/D, St. Augustine Prep (N.J.) has committed to Loyola. Playing with SouthShore Lacrosse, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Monticollo attended Rutgers MXP, Crab City Challenge, as well as Top 205, where he was an All-Star. An aggressive and athletic longpole, he also considered Penn State, UNC and Denver.
