As you all know, we at Laxachusetts preach the importance of hard work, toughness, never quit mentality, and handling obstacles as a challenge to make you stronger / better. We tell our players that they need a blue collar lunch pail mentality. You need to practice and then practice more on your own if you want to beat out the other player for that opportunity. 

The success of our program from day 1 in 2006 has been built on all of these principals. Our players are known on a National Level for their grit, toughness, and work ethic. Our players become leaders / Captains of their teams. True locker room guys. Players that can change tempo in a practice / game. 

I came across this quote today and instantly thought of our program, our players, our coaches and our parents that embrace it (even when there are times that it is tough to do so). 

A message to all of our players. Never stop grinding. Outwork everyone. It will pay off. This sport, and the ups and downs, is training you to succeed in the world.
