Laxachusetts Lacrosse teams headed to Long Island on Saturday to play against as many Long Island teams as we could while attending the 91 Lacrosse Spring Jam.

We even weighted many of our teams to continue with focus on development and preparing players for the summer we have ahead of us where we play the toughest schedule in club lacrosse.

Recap of weekend:

3rd Grade (2025) 3rd place finish (missed championship game in a 3 way tie)

4th grade green and 4th grade white - played 91, LIE, Legacy LI, LI Hitman and 24 Lax. One team was 2-1 and other was 0-3. Overall a great day where our even weighted teams played their best and all games were close. Cant wait to see these guys again this summer.

5th grade green and 5th grade white - played 91, LIE, and Fighting Ducks each.. battled hard against 91 and close games and played a very tough LIE team and won over Fighting Ducks. We love playing 91 and LIE. Looking forward to seeing these guys this summer. Both of our LXC even weighted teams went 1-2 on the day.

6th grade green and 6th grade white - played 91, LIE, Igloo, Legacy LI, LI Hitmen, and Knights lacrosse.
One of our 6th grade teams advanced to the Championship game and lost to a very talented 91 team ! Overall another great day and our teams and players were challenged by the top clubs in Long Island.

7th Grade - We had 3 teams. We had 1 AA team and 2 even weighted A teams. We played LI Outlaws, LI Jesters, Fighting Ducks, True Blue, and team 365. LI Outlaws and LI Jesters were both undefeated and both of our A level even weighted teams had 1 goal games with them. The other games were not as competitive as we had hoped but our kids definitely got better and have a better understanding of the level of play they will see this summer.
7th Grade AA played LIE, LI Hitmen and Mixed Nutz. Toughest game in the pool play was against LIE and ended in a 4-4 tie.
We faced the LI Express again in the Championship for the rematch and we won 6-5 in Overtime !

8th Grade - We also had 3 teams. We have 1 / AA team and 2 even weighted A teams. Our A teams toughest battle was against the Legacy LI AA team. Each played them. One of our even weighted A teams made it to the Championship and lost to the Legacy LI but it is great for our players to compete at the highest level and know that they need to improve on. Overall great day for both of our even weighted teams.
The 8th grade AA team also went undefeated and made it to the Championship game, they played an incredibly talented LI Express team and lost the game, but without a doubt, all of our players left better and prepared for the summer circuit.

Always great to travel to long Island and compete and see where our teams and players are on a National level. Always a great motivator for the players to see how much great talent is out there when getting outside of Massachusetts.

Laxachusetts teams play the toughest schedule in the fall and summer and this with the combination of our 16 weeks of skills training, positional training, and shooting program, we are one of the top 6 clubs in the country.

Looking forward to the summer and having the boys / teams compete on a national level.
