Laxachusetts is considered the leader in lacrosse education / development in the region and we have now taken it one step further, literally!
We have partnered with one of the very speed/strength best trainers in New England, Brendan Shea of Shea Training Systems.  Brendan has been training some of the very best HS and College athletes on the South Shore and will now be joining our team as our Speed Coach.
This program is not just about getting faster and quicker. This is a hybrid program where players will work every week for 30 minutes with a professional speed coach on how to become quicker, faster and a more powerful and efficient runner and how to utalize this on the lacrosse field.
Players will also spend 30 minutes with Sean Morris and the Laxachusetts staff on perfecting dodges and shooting on the run full speed.

Too many players do not fully understand how to dodge, when to dodge, how to set up a dodge and the mechanics that go into dodging.
The Laxachusetts staff along with Brendan Shea have created this hybrid training program to help players in both area's and bring these skill sets together to help players become faster, quicker and more effective dodgers and shooters in the game of lacrosse.
Well we want to provide this solution through our Legacy Speed School.  The LXC offensive players can sign up for these 90 minute sessions that include 45 minutes of speed and agility work with Brendan Shea coupled by 45 minutes of dodging and speed work with Sean Morris and the LXC staff.
Fullbreakdown of each session:
10 min Dynamic warm up
30 min workout with Brendan Shea/Shooting and dodging Drills
5 min Water Break
30 min workout with Brendan Shea/Shooting and Dodging Drills
10 min Cool down
5 min Closing remarks
The biggest emphasis on all three of these essential skillsets is Technique!  You can run a 4.4, run a 5-10-5 shuttle run under 4 seconds and shoot 90 MPH with accuracy if taught properly.   These are all skils that are developed with proper technique and hours of preparation on these skillsets.
We are so excited to take this next step with Brendan Shea and the LXC players as we are constantly striving to be the best!
