Laxachusetts Youth Spring Program 2013 !!! Get Ready to take your game to an entire new level !!

Laxachusetts Spring Program only for Laxachusetts Players

Laxachusetts Youth Spring League / Training Program

We have our very best coaches committed to coaching the teams and we already have the entire training program designed to help bring each players game to an even higher level. We are excited for the opportunity to be able to coach the youth players in a full field setting and build the Lax IQ as well as game awareness and how to play the game faster and understand better how to be a better overall lacrosse player.

As we mentioned in a few of our previous emails about the Spring Program. We have some incredible features about the League.

  • We will be filming all of the games and the games will be sent to Krossover who will then breakdown the film and we will email it back to the players each week where the players can view all of their highlights and see what they are doing correctly, what they need work on and also see how and where they should be moving with and without the ball. An absolutely incredible learning/training tool that we are completely excited to be offering our players.
  • We recently just purchased 2 Official Shot Clocks for the League. We will be using a shot clock for all league games. There are a few reasons for doing this
    • Teach the players to play at a faster pace
    • This is where the game is going and it is only a few years away until there will be a shot clock being used at the collegiate level. Just another way to stay ahead of the game for our players
    • Teach players to play under pressure and to also how to create pressure situations defensively
  • From the Spring League Players will learn how to play and understand offensive sets, slow breaks, fast breaks, defensive situations, rides, clears, and just flat out better at all aspects of the game from our Elite level staff of coaches. The skill level of our players continues to improve every year but our players need to have a better understanding of how to play the game and this is the goal of this Spring Program.
  • Every Player will also receive a written evaluation form from his Coach from the Spring Program at the conclusion of the Spring
Spring Program:
3 even weighted teams per grade
  • 5th Grade Division (4th graders are eligible to participate)
  • 6th Grade Division
  • 7th Grade Division
  • 8th Grade Division
  • Each Team will have 8 Practices/Skill Sessions and 9 League Games

Just another way Laxachusetts separates itself from any club program in the country and reason we are considered one of the best in the Nation !!
