Laxachusetts Parents,

We had our AA Youth and High Schools teams travel to Long Island for the National Lacrosse Federation opening weekend. The event features the top clubs from New England, Long Island, Upstate New York, Philadelphia, Maryland, New Jersey, Georgia, Florida, Mid West and West Coast teams.

The High School event had over 130 college coaches in attendance (List below).

It is not easy going out for the first time as a team and competing against the top club programs from around the country but our boys competed and represented Boston with Pride.

Our High School teams were missing most of the Public and Catholic school players since they are all still playing in the MIAA playoffs. Our teams still had great success and our players got a ton of exposure in front of college coaches.

Our Youth teams also had great success. Our 5th grade black, 6th grade black, and 8th grade black all made the semi finals. Our 4th grade black, 7th grade black, 7th grade yellow and 8th grade yellow all competed against some of the best teams attending the tourney.

All of these youth clubs play year round together and also compete in Club Spring Leagues in their regions. This was an amazing weekend for Massachusetts Lacrosse to compete at the highest level and have such tremendous success.

In the end we teach our boys that this is a great motivator to keep working hard and showing them the level of lacrosse and athletes that are playing this game around the country. So incredible for our boys to compete and develop. We are confident all of our boys went home knowing what area's they need to work on.

This weekend all of our Youth teams will be competing at the Prime Time Tournament held locally. Looking forward to see our boys compete against the local clubs from New England this weekend. This weekend we are playing or New England Pride !!!

This is a great weekend for our boys and teams to be working on all of the little things. Fundamentals, Fundamentals, Fundamentals.
