How did the commitment process go for you? It was very exciting. I decided to make it my goal to play Division 1 lacrosse a long time ago and to be taking steps toward achieving that goal is very rewarding. Trying to evaluate and choose between schools was not easy, but I am very happy with the way it turned out.

What were the reasons behind making your verbal commitment? After having gone on my unofficial visits I was still in awe of all the schools, but I was eventually able to take a step back and decide that Princeton had the best combination of lacrosse, academics and location for me. The opportunity to go to Princeton was not something I could see myself passing up.

How did your university visit go? I had a great time. Princeton had lost by one goal in overtime to Yale so I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. I was paired up with Tom Schreiber and he and the other kids on the team really did a great job of showing me the school and making me feel welcome. Coach Bates, Raymond and Brundage were great at communicating their vision and goals for the future of the program. It was all very impressive.

What are you best lacrosse attributes? I would say my ability to break down a defense in transition is my best lacrosse attribute, as well as, good vision. My size and speed come in handy as well.

What would you like to work on over the next two seasons? Over the next two seasons, I’d like to focus on my shot on the run with both hands as well as time and room shooting. There isn’t any part of my game that I feel cannot improve.
