No, this is not a typo and yes we did have a player from Ohio who ran with us this summer.

Payden Pierce, Midfielder from Worthington Kilbourne High School in Ohio came to us from former University of Vermont Goalie Matt Geary who moved out to Ohio after living in South Boston and helping with the Program for 2 years.

Matt called us up about Payden and asked if we had a spot in the summer of 2010 for a strong midfielder from Ohio. Of course we do.

We brought Payden to the Top 16 Shootout where he helped the team get to the Championship Game in the Invitation Only event held in Baltimore.

Payden will take his talents to Jacksonville University in the Fall of 2011.

Payden becomes the 6th DI commit in the 2011 class and the 20th DI commit between the 2011 and 2012 class from the summer of 2010 campaign.

This brings the commitment total to 31 players total from the 2010 summer.
