The Laxachusetts Fall Ball Program is an optional program for our players. We typically have 60% of our players participate in the fall ball program due to other fall sports commitments such as football, soccer and hockey.

Our fall ball program consists of 5 skill sessions and 2 tourneys.

In our first tourney of the Fall Ball Program we participated in the NH Tomahawks Scarecrow Festival. It is always a great event with strong clubs from NH, MA and RI attending. Beautiful facilities at the Taunton Forekicks.

This is the 2nd year in a row we have offered our Fall ball program and for the 2nd year in a row, we took home 4 out of 5 Championships at the NH Tomahawks Scarecrow Festival.

Overall our Laxachusetts Youth teams which were even weighted went a combined 23 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie. We took home Championships in the 4th Grade Division, 5th Grade Division, 6th Grade Division and 8th Grade Division.

4th Grade Team - We only had 1 team participate in this division and this team really dominated the competition with a combined 38 Goals for and 5 Against in 3 games.

5th Grade Green Team   - We had two even weighted teams in this division. The Green team went 3-0 and took home the Championship by outscoring opponents 37-5 (NH Tomahawks Purple, NE Twisters and 3d NE).

5th Grade White Team - Our other even weighted team had a slow start against a strong RI Bulldogs U13 team and lost 4-2. Our team picked up the tempo in the last 2 games of the day and finished with a 2-1 record and 3rd place for the day outscoring Primetime Penguins 11-1 and NE Twisters 12-0)

6th Grade Green Team - We had two even weighted teams in this division. Our Green team started off day with a convincing win over 3dNE 10-2 and then defeated NE Twisters 13-6 and Coyotes 14-3. Our team finished up 3-0 and CO- Champs with the 6th Grade White LXC Team.

6th Grade White Team - Our other even weighted team had the same success and finished the day 3-0 (CO Champs) with wins over NH Tomahawks (13-5), 3dNE (12-4) and Warrior Elite (15-3).

7th Grade Green Team - We had two even weighted teams in this division. Both of our teams went 2-1 on the day. Both our 7th grade and 8th grade had very light rosters with a large number of conflicts with football. Overall our boys did great with wins over Warrior Elite and NE Twisters. Finished in 4th place at 2-1 record.

7th Grade White Team - Our other even weighted team also light numbers did great as well. Finished the day 2-1 and a 3rd place finish. Had strong wins over NH Tomahawks Purple and NE Twisters.

8th Green Team - We had 2 even weighted teams in this division. Very much like our 7th grade teams, light rosters with players having to leave early due to football. We started off with 18 players in the roster but by 3rd game we were down to 13/14 players. Overall very good effort and showing by our boys. Team finished 1-2 but both losses were 1 goal games. Our team also played tough defense with the lowest goals allowed by any team in the 8th grade division with 10.

8th Grade White Team - Our second even weighted team despite low numbers as the tourney went on with players having to leave early, this team finished with a 2-0-1 record and took home the Championship with wins over 3dNE and Warrior Elite and a great game vs NH Tomahawks Purple which ended in a tie ! Great work by the boys with stubborn defense and 2nd lowest goals allowed on the day by any team in the 8th grade division.

Overall terrific day for our players, teams, coaches and parents. We have a lots of work to do this off season but this is a great way to start. We look forward to our final tourney of the Fall Ball season on Oct. 30th at Devens, MA.
