Inside Lacrosse Recruiting Round Up Covers Both Billy Breen (2013) and Scott Frankenthaler (2014) College Commitments

Billy Breen (2013) Commit to Albany and Scott Frankenthaler (2014) Commit to Hopkins highlighted on IL

Another two early commitments to Johns Hopkins, and 2013s headed to Albany, St. John's, Marist, Delaware and Drexel.

2014

Scott Frankenthaler, D, Roxbury Latin School (Mass.) has verbally committed to Johns Hopkins. Frankenthaler is a multi-sport athlete who plays linebacker/running back for Roxbury Latin’s football team. The 6-foot, 185-pound recruit had a nice Philly Showcase, leading the Laxachusetts 2014 defense and making the all-star team. The first 2014 recruit from the Laxachusetts program to commit, he also considered Maryland, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Brown, Williams and Middlebury. 

Sam Lynch, M, Landon (Md.) has verbally committed to Johns Hopkins. Lynch was a member of the Landon varsity as a freshman. Playing in several events with Blackwolf as well, he had a strong showing at Jake Reed's Blue Chip as well as the Brine Shootout with Landon. He also considered Duke, Cornell, Princeton, Penn State and Bucknell. 

2013 

Billy Breen, M, Boston College High (Mass.) has verbally committed to Albany. Breen is a fast, tall (6-4) recruit who's speed make him a talent on both the lacrosse field and in the gridiron. Breen, an offensive lineman in football, and his BC High football team won the 2011 D1 Super Bowl Championship at Gillette Stadium earlier this year.

Kyle Skramko, D, Garden City (N.Y.) has verbally committed to play at St. John's University. Kyle is a third-generation SJU attendee. The 6-2, 170-pound Skramko is a talented three-sport athlete, who also plays varsity football and varsity basketball. Though he can run both longpole and take face-offs, Skramko's biggest talent is as a takeaway threat on the close defense. 

Brian Corrigan, G, Westhampton Beach (N.Y.) has verbally committed to Marist. All-County as a sophomore, Corrigan made 153 stops as a sophomore for a 65% percentage. He had an All-Star performance at Top 205 in the summer, also playing club with Team Westhampton. Corrigan also considered Loyola, Brown, Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Vermont and Hofstra. 

Jackson Finigan, M/A, Concord Carlisle (Mass.) has verbally committed to Delaware. Finigan scored 39 points during his high school season last year. During the summer he played for Team Central, competting in the Brine Shootout, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, the UMass Midsummer Classic and Peak 200. Also an accomplished football and hockey player, Finigan was part of Concord Carlisle's run to the state D3 football championship. Set to graduate from high school in 2012, Finigan will take a PG year and is currently narrowing his choices. He also considered Princeton, UMass and Fairfield.

Noboru Kobashigawa, M, Collegiate School (Va.) has verbally committed to Drexel. A recent resident of the East Coast, Kobashigawa honed his skills previously at Oak Park HS, Calif., where he scored 43 goals, 14 assists and scooped 99 groundballs during his team's 17-0 run. This past summer he played in the Adrenaline Showcase at Sonoma State and at the UMass Midsummer Classic with West Coast Starz. During the fall he played at the UPLax Tournament and at the Fall Terrapin Classic. Kobashigawa also runs track. He also considered High Point, Marquette, Tufts and the Air Force Academy.
